Hi Oracle Guru, m working as a technical consultant. m facing a problem while retrieving the data from database.As the query used for fetching the data has many table as well as many condition, so it take longer time to fetch the data.Any body can tell me i how can i fetch the data faster.

Hi all Oracle Gurus . I work as an executive business developer for a multinational company in Coimbatore. My company deals with SAP ERP sales and implementation as well as IBM collaboration products .It’s been an year that i am dealing with sales of ERP system for small & medium segment industries . Would like to continue in the same field . I am not technical enough to handle the support activities or the implementation as i am a BE mechanical engineer & have around 7 years of experience in sales related activities basically software. Just want to be in sales. Heard about Oracle ERP . Wanted to try for marketing . Could any one help me out as the basics that i should know before i start with Oracle ERP product ( sales )

I’m working as a D2k developer with a good knowledge of Sql and Pl/Sql, now I just wanted to ask u all is that is it a right choice for me to shift to Oracle Apps, if so what steps do i have to take to shift???

Hello,
I have read your request. You all need to have a look on the oracle web side and have a look at the installation packages and number of modules in Oracle Apps.
After this it will be quite clear to all of you that you need to go for Apps or remain in your current field.
in my suggesion if you can spend / investe a huge amount after after your 16yr education then you can think of it.
but be very much sure to have a great problem solving skills and domain knowledge before moving towards Oracle Apps.
