How to make sure that your debits and credits are balancing?

This is another useful dashboard for quick validation of your GL data. It is very handy during month end close process but can be used any time you may feel necessary.

The benefit of this dashboard is that it allows you to analyze all of your set of books and check the balances for any period. This portlet directly queries the gl_balance table so it is always fresh. Plus, there is a brother GL dashboard ( for a change ;-)) that allows you to drill into Journal Details and subledger transactions.

The following portlet gives a visual representation of the balance spread across your different account categories.
